Ready Louisiana Coalition — a leading advocacy organization for early childhood education — invites you to join us for our annual Early Ed Day at the Louisiana State Capitol on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Remember to wear navy and green so you are recognized as part of the Ready Louisiana Coalition.
This impactful event unites more than 300 early childhood educators, advocates, parents, and business leaders from across Louisiana to engage in activities and advocate for the importance of early childhood education with state lawmakers.
Tentative Schedule:
📢 9:00 AM – Press Conference (Limited seating- please indicate if you would like to attend. We will follow up if we can accommodate your attendance.)
📸 10:30 AM – Group Photo on the Capitol Steps
🎉 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM – Reception on the Lawn
🏛️ 2:00 PM (approximately) – House and Senate convene; the Resolution will be read out loud. (Time to be confirmed on Monday, April 14th)
🤝 Throughout the Day - Attend legislative committee meetings
