Geaux Far Louisiana — a coalition of early childhood providers, parents, and community partners — invites you to join us for our annual Geaux Far Day at the Louisiana State Capitol on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Geaux Far believes in an equitable, unified early childhood system centering racial equity and ensuring families have access to seamless, high-quality early child development, health, and educational services.

This impactful event unites early childhood educators, advocates, parents, and community partners from across Louisiana to engage in activities and advocate for expanded access to education, early childhood development, and health programs that empower families and strengthen communities.

Tentative Schedule:

📢 9:00 AM – Press Conference (Limited seating- please indicate if you would like to attend. We will follow up if we can accommodate your attendance.)

📸 10:30 AM – Group Photo on the Capitol Steps

🎉 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM – Reception on the House Patio

🏛️ 2:00 PM (approximately) – House and Senate convene; the Resolution will be read out loud (Time to be confirmed on Monday, April 14th)
