Early Ed Day at the Capitol 2026

Ready Louisiana Coalition — a leading advocacy organization for early childhood education — invites you to join us for our annual Early Ed Day at the Louisiana State Capitol on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
This impactful event unites more than 300 early childhood educators, advocates, parents, and business leaders from across Louisiana to engage in activities and advocate for the importance of early childhood education with state lawmakers.
Tentative Schedule:
8:00 AM - Meet with legislators or attend legislative committee meetings
10:00 AM - Press Conference at the Capitol Park Museum (Limited seating; attendance will be first-come, first-served.)
11:00 AM - Group Photo at the Capitol Park Museum
11:15 AM - 1:00 PM - Reception at the Capitol Park Museum
2:00 PM (approximately) – House and Senate convene; the Resolution will be read out loud (Time to be confirmed)
